Job summary

S2 Residential is hiring for an Assistant Property Manager at The Bowie. You will support the Property Manager to drive occupancy, marketing, expense control, and overall community performance.

The role includes on-site accounting oversight, move-in coordination, and ensuring a high standard of service for residents and staff. You will work to maintain accurate filings, open communication with residents, and uphold S2 Residential’s core values across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two years+ of residential property management experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and related laws (Fair Credit Reporting Act, ADA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver an exemplary resident experience.
• Resolve resident concerns and objections as they arise.
• Collect rents and other monies owed; rent due by the 5th each month.
• Oversee delinquency collections and debt recovery relationships.
• Coordinate move-in inspections and deposit accounting.
• Maintain accurate resident files and paperwork.
• Coordinate move-ins and schedule reminders with residents and team.
• Open and prepare the community for daily operations on schedule.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors, residents, and staff.
