Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC. is seeking a dedicated Chauffeur/Driver in Florida to transport residents and support daily activities. The role requires safe driving, assistance to residents, and adherence to vehicle maintenance protocols.

The position offers full benefits, weekend/evening/holiday availability, and opportunities to contribute to resident experiences while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two to five years of driving experience, preferably with a 12-passenger van.
• CDL is required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Able to operate 12- to 16-passenger vehicles and related equipment.
• Knowledge of streets within an 8-mile radius of the community.
• Must meet Motor Vehicle Record policy standards.
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 12-passenger van to activities and destinations per schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of the vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service the vehicle; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily/weekly vehicle inspection and maintenance records.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents’ apartments.
• Assist Resident Experience Department in activities as needed.
• Submit charges for community travel expenses to the business office daily.
• Maintain a safe driving record per company guidelines.
• Handle emergencies and basic First Aid.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed.
