Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates and adheres to a monthly activity calendar.
• Speaks to/interacts with residents at all levels of care with empathy and respect.
• Coordinates special events for residents, families, and staff.
• Transports and supervises residents on outings and visits.
• Screens, recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Provides guidance and support to staff on life enrichment programming and activities.
• Acts as facilitator and takes minutes at resident council meetings.
• Follows up on concerns from resident council with necessary departments.
