Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Activities Aide to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on enhancing residents' quality of life through social, physical, emotional, and cognitive stimulation.

You will work closely with the Activities Director to tailor activities to mobility and cognitive levels, monitor participation, and document engagement while maintaining a safe and welcoming

Responsibilities

• Assist in Activity Planning: Help plan daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules for residents' well-being.
• Lead and Facilitate Activities: Set up, lead, and oversee group activities and events.
• Resident Interaction: Build relationships with residents and monitor engagement.
• Documentation: Record resident attendance and participation per policies.
• Set-Up and Clean-Up: Prepare spaces and restore after activities.
• Special Event Support: Assist in organizing holiday celebrations, outings, or family nights.
