Job summary

National Church Residences in Atlanta seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and lead daily and monthly resident activities, events, outings, trips, and celebrations that enrich life and foster community. You will develop programs based on resident interests and abilities, encourage participation, coordinate calendars, and manage a modest activities budget with staff and volunteers.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, plus a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in activities programming or a degree in recreational therapy, social work, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in activities coordination or related role preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet motor vehicle requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead daily and monthly resident activities, events, outings, trips, and celebrations.
• Develop programs based on resident interests and abilities.
• Encourage participation and active resident involvement in community events.
• Coordinate outings and create monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Organize holiday celebrations and special events throughout the year.
• Maintain records and budget for activities.
