Job summary

TPD in the United States is seeking Resident Engineers and Senior Construction Inspectors with NJ highway/bridge project experience to join our team. The roles involve on-site coordination, inspections, and reporting for projects with NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, and DRJTBC.

Candidates should have NICET III-IV or PE license, 7+ years in construction inspection, and the ability to read blueprints and use inspection software.

Qualifications

• NICET III-IV Certification or Professional Engineer license is required.
• 7+ years of experience in construction inspection.
• EIT or BS in Civil Engineering is a plus.
• ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications; familiarity with inspection tools and software.
• Experience with Federal-aid projects and relevant certifications is not required but is a plus.
• Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
• Experience with NJTA Capex or NJDOT Site Manager is not required but is a plus.
• Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Document all on-site observations of construction progress such as equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports when required.
• Proactively communicate with the contractor and the client to progress the project in a timely manner to meet the project goals.
