Job summary

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority seeks a Resident Activities and Engagement Coordinator to plan and implement educational, social, emotional, cognitive and physically appropriate programs for elderly and disabled residents. This role also backs MHRA’s Youth Program.

This full-time, 35-hour work week emphasizes compassionate interaction, independence, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years related experience in recreational program development for the elderly, persons with disabilities, and/or youth.
• Ability to interact compassionately with elderly, youth, and persons with disabilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement educational, social, emotional, cognitive and physical programs for elderly and persons with disabilities.
• Engage with MHRA’s tenant population and support MHRA’s Youth Program as primary backup staff.
