Job summary

North Hill in Needham, MA, seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan, develop, and evaluate programs that enrich residents' daily lives. You will organize engaging activities across the campus, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to meet individual and group needs, and facilitating family and volunteer involvement.

The role includes documenting participation, supporting meal services, and managing calendars, with an emphasis on compassionate, person-centered care in a not-for-profit senior

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using standard computer software.
• Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Experience or training in senior recreation/engagement programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and evaluate resident engagement programs.
• Coordinate weekly notes and participation highlights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
• Assist with meal service and household activities.
• Develop and distribute program calendars.
• Document administrative tasks and forms.
• Foster volunteer opportunities and family collaboration.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one activities.
