Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Community Ambassador to act as a liaison between residents and management, driving engagement, leasing support, and events. The role requires you to live on-site in staff housing and work ~20 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends.

You will plan programs, assist with tours and housing events, and provide office support while upholding a positive, professional brand across the community. This is an on-site, part-time role ideal for student leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student and meet academic requirements.
• Must be able to live on-site in staff housing.
• Must be available to move in prior to the start of the academic year for training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social and developmental programs to enhance the resident experience.
• Build relationships with residents through one-on-one interactions and community involvement.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging community environment.
• Serve as a resource for residents regarding community services and local resources.
• Assist with leasing efforts including tours, follow-ups, and housing events.
• Participate in outreach marketing activities such as housing fairs and campus events.
• Promote the community through social engagement and peer networking.
• Cover scheduled office shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Support daily office functions including customer service and administrative tasks.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities.
• Respond to lockouts, noise complaints, and resident concerns.
• Assist in handling emergency situations as needed.
• Serve as a role model and ambassador for the B.HOM brand.
