Job summary

The Colonnade at Northdale is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead resident-centered programs, plan monthly activities, and coordinate events for residents and families. You will work closely with staff to ensure engaging, safe experiences that foster friendship and well-being.

Responsibilities include supervising outings, training volunteers, and supporting staff while maintaining HIPAA-compliant and compassionate care standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and adhere to a monthly activity calendar.
• Coordinate events for residents, families and staff.
• Transport and supervise residents on outings and medical visits.
• Recruit, train and coordinate volunteers.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.
• Assist staff and provide guidance to meet performance standards.
• Serve residents in the dining room during meals.
• Support residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
