Job summary

The Colony Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Full Time Activities Assistant to engage residents with planned activities. You will work directly with residents, fostering socialization and meaningful daily experiences in a caring setting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, compassionate, and creative, with the ability to plan and lead a variety of activities and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to plan, organize and conduct activities for residents.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use simple software.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Plan, organize and conduct a variety of resident activities.
• Engage residents to promote socialization and community involvement.
• Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary teams.
