Job summary

DuPage County is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Worker for the Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center. The role involves meal assembly, stocking, cash handling, and helping residents with meals.

We are willing to train for this position. The shift is 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. This is a union position under AFSCME Council 31, and DuPage County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or demonstrated relevant work experience.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work on a meal assembly line at an assigned station, transport completed trays, sanitize trays and serving lines, wash dishes and assist residents.
• Receive and stock items, clean kitchen areas, and assist in dining rooms and cafeterias.
• Act as a cashier, ringing up transactions and tendering cash.
• Take food orders and assemble orders in a timely manner.
