Job summary

Transforming Age in St. Charles, IL seeks a part-time server to support residents during weekday dinners from 4 PM to 7 PM. You will help with meal selection, take orders, and deliver meals with care in a respectful dining environment.

The ideal candidate is 16 or older, with previous dining or long-term care experience preferred, and comfortable using POS systems. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential, plus ability to pass screenings as required.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age and able to work weekdays.
• Previous server or dining experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or related field preferred.
• Experience using POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection and ordering.
• Present menu, answer questions and suggest items.
• Record orders and relay to kitchen production area.
• Deliver meals and aid residents during service.
• Clear, clean and reset dining tables between meals.
• May assist with light back-of-house duties as needed.
• Observe residents to ensure dining area safety.
