GRAND OAKS ASSISTED LIVING is seeking a kitchen assistant to support meal preparation and service for residents. You will help with washing, chopping, labeling nourishments, and portioning items for tray lines while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following menus and schedules, and assisting cooks under supervision to ensure meals are delivered on time and in accordance with nutrition guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year in a large-scale cooking operation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with food ordering, storage and preparation as designated by supervisor.
• Assist cooks as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare and portion nourishments and desserts.
• Follow production sheets and guidelines when appropriate.
• Maintain sanitary dining room and kitchen, clean equipment and work areas.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
