Job summary

Cornerstone Management is seeking a friendly food service team member to serve residents in our assisted living communities. You will assist with food prep, portioning, plating meals, set up dining rooms, serving, and dishwashing.

You will follow safety and hygiene standards, maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, and communicate with residents and families. A High School diploma or GED and experience with older adults are preferred; punctuality is essential.

Qualifications

• High School education/GED or equivalent.
• Experience with older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions in English.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating meals.
• Set up dining room, serve meals, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining experience.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain cleanliness of dishware, kitchen tools, and dining areas.
• Follow cleaning protocols and assist with waste disposal and recycling.
• Communicate with residents and respond to dining requests with care.
• Support the mission and values of Cornerstone Management Communities.
