Job summary

fhcexternal is seeking a dining assistant to set up dining areas and trays for meal services, following food safety guidelines and resident dietary needs.

You will assist cooks, deliver meal carts, record refrigerator temperatures, wash dishes, and help maintain sanitation. The role includes varied shifts: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with mandatory training and compliance with all policies. English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year food service preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic Food Preparation Knowledge.
• Sanitation and Safety Practices.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the dining area and trays for meal services.
• Assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service.
• Delivering residents' meal carts and maintaining dining areas.
• Recording refrigerator temperatures and maintaining stock.
• Washing and storing dishes and maintaining kitchen sanitation.
• Following Federal, State, and Community regulations and facility policies.
• Attending department meetings and completing mandatory training.
