Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking an hourly, full-time dining services assistant to set up the dining area and trays for meal services, ensuring food safety and adherence to dietary restrictions for residents. You will assist with food preparation, deliver meal carts, and maintain sanitation and temperatures in the kitchen.

The role requires following Federal, State, and Community guidelines, and compliance with HIPAA and health-safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Assist with food preparation and service using approved procedures, following guidelines and regulations.
• Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators and maintain stock.
• Wash and store dishes; ensure sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all facility policies including HIPAA, health and safety regulations, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and set/clean dining areas.
• Monitor and record refrigerator temperatures; maintain cleanliness and stock.
• Maintain sanitation of dishes and kitchen area.
• Attend department meetings and complete required trainings.
