Job summary

fhcexternal is seeking an entry-level dining services worker to set up dining areas and trays for meal services, ensuring food safety and adherence to dietary restrictions.

You will assist cooks, deliver meal carts, and maintain cleanliness of dining spaces while complying with facility policies and HIPAA-like guidelines. The role requires English proficiency and flexibility for day/evening shifts, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year food service preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic Food Preparation Knowledge.
• Sanitation and Safety Practices.

Responsibilities

• This role involves setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions.
• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service following specific procedures, guidelines and regulations.
• Deliver residents' meal carts and set and clean dining areas to serve residents.
• Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; maintain sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Comply with Federal, State and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Demonstrate accountability for personal/professional growth and required certifications/licenses, if applicable.
• Complete mandatory training and competencies annually.
