Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Hershey, PA is seeking a friendly Server to assist residents and guests with meals, provide beverages, and keep dining areas clean. You will work as part of a caring team, ensuring excellent service and proper food handling.

You will support residents with mobility or memory needs, follow safety and service standards, and maintain confidentiality while interacting with residents, guests, and coworkers in a respectful, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with menu selections and beverage service.
• Serve meals courteously and reset dining room after service.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas (sweep, mop, vacuum).
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information.
