Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is seeking a friendly Dining Services Associate to greet residents and guests, take orders, and ensure timely service in the dining area. You will help with food preparation, handling and sanitation, and support cooks as needed in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and ServSafe/Food Safety certification is encouraged.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, or current enrollment if under 18.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Computer skills: Must be able to operate a computer.
• Certifications: ServSafe/Food Safety preferred; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Greets guests warmly and takes accurate resident food orders.
• Advises on menu items, diets, and allergens as needed.
• Coordinates with back-of-house staff to ensure correct orders.
• Delivers food and maintains sanitation standards.
• Addresses complaints and follows up with residents.
• Operates kitchen equipment for coffee, tea, and beverages.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and utensils.
• Assists cooks and participates in meetings and training.
