Job summary

Forefront is seeking a dedicated dietary support staff member to assist in meal preparation and service under the Chef Manager/Culinary Director. You will help set up dining areas, serve residents, and maintain cleanliness in food handling and dishwashing tasks while following established safety and infection-control measures.

You will also assist with tray assembly, loading carts, and restocking supplies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal service guidelines.
• Good teamwork and communication in a dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals as assigned by the Chef Manager/Culinary Director.
• Follow Federal and State regulations and Culinary Services Department policies and procedures.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Setting up the dining room and serving residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety codes.
• Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Facility’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures applicable to the job.
• Perform other department duties as directed.
