Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dining server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and maintain dining room cleanliness. The role includes beverage service, condiments replenishment, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth meal service.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals in a courteous manner.
• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu and provide beverage service.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after meals.
• Report any broken equipment to supervisor and maintain clean service areas.
• Wash and reset dining room after each meal service and assist with tray service.
