Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu selections and beverages, and maintain dining room cleanliness. You will support tray service, follow safety and labeling practices, and participate in required trainings.

The role requires good communication, reliable teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a facility setting dedicated to resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and reset dining areas after service.
• Assist residents with menu selections and beverage service.
• Refill seasonings and report broken equipment to supervision.
• Perform sit-down service, food preparation basics and proper storage/labeling.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum kitchen and dining areas; attend required in-services.
• Support tray service and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors.
