Job summary

Indiana University Dining and Hospitality is seeking staff for residential dining operations in Bloomington. You will assist with management, supervise employees, oversee meal preparation, and coordinate purchasing and inventory to support student-focused dining services.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year in food service, and ServSafe certification within 180 days. A flexible, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in food services and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Food Safety (ServSafe) certification within 180 days upon date of hire.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of professional cooking principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management, administration, and/or production for IU Dining and Hospitality.
• Provide customer service, schedules, and supervises employees.
• Oversee the preparation and service of meals.
• Oversee purchasing and production, including menus and orders, directing stores attendants, and overseeing receiving.
