Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents in Elk Grove, CA. You will ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean dining environment, and support a collaborative team that fosters a welcoming community.

You will interact with residents, families, and staff, meeting dietary needs and delivering courteous, professional service in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to obtain/hold local food handling licenses as required.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks.
• First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
