Job summary

Milestone is seeking a dedicated Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents at our senior living community. You will ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that fosters a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for residents and families.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to obtain local food handling/sanitation licenses as required.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting and background checks.
• First Aid certification required.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
