Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents. You’ll provide high‑quality service during meals, keep the dining area clean, and support a collaborative team to create a welcoming community.

You will interact with residents, families, and staff to ensure comfort and dietary needs are met. We value compassion for the elderly, strong communication, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Must be 18+, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks.
• First Aid certification required.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
