Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, rehabilitation, or a similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Comfortable working directly with residents.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen, dietary, nursing, and rehabilitation staff.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry trays/supplies, and perform routine cleaning and dishwashing duties.
• Must be willing to follow all facility policies regarding food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, resident rights, and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food-service operations on the rehab unit.
• Receive meals, trays, snacks, and beverages from the kitchen and ensure accuracy.
• Serve residents in dining areas or rooms with warmth and dignity.
• Monitor special diets and dietary instructions and report concerns promptly.
• Set up meal service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food-service areas and equipment.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and clinical staff to address residents' needs.
