Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Summerville, SC is seeking a Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals and to assist with dining room setup and cleanup. You will provide beverage service, assist residents with menu orders, and maintain cleanliness and safety in dining areas.

The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and equal opportunity employment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests courteously.
• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu and provide beverages.
• Clean-up and reset dining room after meals.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls as needed and report broken equipment.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings and follow confidentiality policies.
