Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care dietary department preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
• Identify menu and diet preferences and ensure accuracy.
• Set up trays and deliver meals to residents.
• Operate central tray service line and handle food on trays.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Stock and store food items and assist with inventory.
