Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Communications Specialist (Front Desk) to be the first point of contact for residents, families and candidates. The role focuses on delivering a warm, welcoming experience and handling inquiries efficiently.

The position pays starts at $16.00 per hour with shifts 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm, and includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k match, onsite clinic, dining discounts, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Receptionist experience required.
• Excellent verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct residents, visitors and staff; answer questions and concerns efficiently.
• Receive emergency calls and dispatch appropriate personnel; page on-call physicians as needed.
• Monitor emergency pull cords for Independent Living residents.
• Track status of residents involved in situations (hospitalizations, etc.).
• Manage resident lists alphabetically and by apartment; assist with census info; notify about packages and mail dispatch.
