PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in delivering resident care and implementing treatment plans.

The PTA will document accurately, maintain safety, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, communicate with families, and participate in care conferences. A state license and an accredited PTA program are required, with CPR certification if applicable.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills and data entry in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsabilidades

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with the supervising PT regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides and participate in rehabilitation program development.
