Napa Post Acute is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

You will support general maintenance, routine preventative tasks, and small repairs with hands-on problem-solving in a healthcare setting. The role requires basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and complete basic projects (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas as needed.
• Assist with equipment inspections and minor repairs.
• Ensure safety regulations and facility standards are followed.
