Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while providing courteous service to residents and staff.

Competitive hourly pay range at $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with benefits. Prior cooking experience and state-required certifications (ServSafe or Food Handler) are preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe or Food Handler certification
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
• Strong communication with residents, staff, and leadership

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
