Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure flavor, and maintain safety standards while delivering friendly service.

This position offers competitive hourly pay of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for training. Applicants should have a high school diploma and prior cooking or food preparation experience; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cooking/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• May need to complete sanitation/safety course if required by facility.
• Residency within service area may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean, orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
