Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience for a large group.
• Long-term care or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt recipes for dietary needs.
• Strong communication with dietary supervisor and staff.
• Demonstrated reliability and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans.
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality.
• Comply with facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control.
• Support timely meal service for residents.
