Responsibilities

Assist cook in meal preparation, salads, desserts, and between-meal nourishments.
Serve nourishments and follow diet orders including NPO as required.
Record and monitor food temperatures and stock levels.
Operate kitchen equipment and ensure proper cleaning of dishes and surfaces.
Deliver trays to patients/residents and assist with serving beverages.
Maintain accuracy of food substitutions and adherence to recipes.
Maintain sanitary food prep areas and follow safety regulations.
Assist supervision staff with training and daily kitchen operations.
