Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Minimum Experience Required: At least 1 year of institutional food service experience as a cook.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience In Long Term Care Food Production Is Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and between-meal nourishments.
• Follow diet orders and serve nourishments per guidelines.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents and store leftovers properly.
• Maintain sanitation and infection control in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Record temperatures and maintain equipment and supplies.
