Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families, physicians, and the health team. The role emphasizes documentation accuracy, compliance, and supervision of CFY or students, with opportunities for professional growth in a facility setting.

The position also involves leading in-services for staff, adhering to infection control, and educating families about home exercise programs and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State licensure as a Speech Therapist required; CPR certification may be required.
• Proficiency with health records systems (Net Health, Point Click Care) desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or student clinicians.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families about progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in medical records.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on goals and home exercises.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
