Job summary

Fiberhire in Bennington, VT is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehab team at a supportive, resident-focused long-term care facility.

You will evaluate residents, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. A $4,000 sign-on bonus and $40-$53/hour pay reflect experience.

Qualifications

• SLPs licensed in NY or MA are encouraged to apply (licensure support available)
• CCC-SLP preferred
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services per physician orders
• Maintain accurate documentation (evaluations, progress notes, outcomes)
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate residents, families, and staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
