Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state with CE requirements.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in line with guidelines.
• Maintain safe environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides when needed.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the PT and team.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise and safety.
• Assist with ordering necessary durable medical equipment.
• Report problems with equipment and contribute to quality initiatives.
