• Ability to read technical procedures and comprehend policy manuals.
• Effective communication with managers, coworkers and families.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care and treatment as directed.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for facility, governmental, and third-party payer requirements.
• Support infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist with training of Restorative Aides in the nursing department.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning updates to physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
