Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Winston-Salem is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate team on a PRN basis. You will support residents in maximizing daily living activities and participate in individualized treatment plans.

You will assist therapists, conduct sessions, use adaptive equipment, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state where you practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's in OT or related field preferred.
• Minimum experience in an occupational therapy setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed, with or without accommodations.
