Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer medications and assist with daily living activities with compassion and respect, helping residents feel safe and at home.

The role emphasizes clinical support, person-centered care, and collaboration with nursing and care teams to ensure a positive resident experience and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must submit to TB test per state regulations.
• Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide or willing to complete on-the-job training.
• Passion for working with seniors and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery per policies and procedures.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall response.
• Accurately document medication administration in MAR and other required systems.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care and medication management.
• Maintain security, accountability, and proper storage of medications per state regulations and community policy.
