Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Take and record residents’ vital signs and monitor changes.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as ordered.
• Observe and document residents’ status and report changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care.
• Communicate with residents and the healthcare team.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and standards.
