Ryders Health Management is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time work at Aaron Manor in Chester, CT. This role involves delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a collaborative environment.

The LPN will provide direct care, assist residents with daily living activities, and ensure proper documentation of patient care. This position offers a part-time schedule with shifts from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and competitive pay ranging from $31.00 to $37.00 per hour,

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted LPN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Strong ability to work well with teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Take and record residents’ vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as ordered.
• Document care provided and changes in residents' status.
• Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare team.
