McFarland Villa Assisted Living is seeking a full-time or part-time CBRF Cook to join our team and provide quality dining experiences for residents and staff. Duties include cooking, following recipes, stocking with the Food Service Director, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Prior short-order and quantity cooking is preferred; Serv-Safe certification is required or obtainable upon hire, with CBRF certification preferred.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking) and quantity cooking.
• Must possess Serv-Safe certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
• CBRF Certified is preferred: First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Fire Safety.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation.
• Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director.
• Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product.
• Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.
