Job summary

McFarland Villa Assisted Living in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time or part-time cook to join our team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner, read recipes, and ensure high quality food presentation while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires at least one year cooking experience, Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain, and CBRF certification preferred. You will work with a Food Service Director and support resident dining expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and required meal prep techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Read and follow recipes to ensure consistency of the product.
• Order, receive, and rotate stock in coordination with Food Service Director.
• Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures.
