Job summary

Bear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a cook to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and prepare meals for residents. You will follow prepared menus, manage portion control, and assist with serving meals while ensuring safety and quality in a long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a cook in a hospital or long-term care facility for at least 1 year required.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Prepare meals and follow menus and portion controls.
