Job summary

River City Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Unit Supervisor/LP N to oversee the daily workflow of the unit and coordinate nursing care for residents on site in Florida. The role requires supervision of nurses, CNAs, and PCAs, and ensuring timely administration of medications and monitoring of residents’ conditions.

Minimum education is an Associate degree in Nursing with an active Florida LPN license, CPR certification within 90 days of hire, and compliance with state background checks.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• CPR certification within 90 days after hire.
• State background check required by Florida statutes 435 and 408.809 and Florida Admin Code 59A-35.090.
• Experience performing essential functions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily workflow of the unit.
• Plans and schedules work assignments for resident care.
• Provides performance feedback and handles employee issues per policy.
• Administers medications or starts intravenous fluids and documents times/amounts.
• Observes residents and reports changes in conditions.
